París Deco Off 2026
Después de haber visitado la feria PARIS MAISON & OBJET tuve la ocasión de pasear en esa otra feria PARÍS DECO OFF, que es una prolongación de la primera. Pero no en unos recintos feriales, sino en plena calle, al aire libre; donde los establecimientos ofrecían sus productos y diseños a todos los visitantes.
After having visited the PARIS MAISON & OBJET fair, I had a chance to take a stroll along this other fair, PARÍS DECO OFF, which, as the name implies, is the off-venue part of the first one, taking place outdoors, in the streets; where the shops offered their products and designs to all comers.
Desde las orillas del Sena y con Notre Dame al fondo, algunas calles muy bien adornadas, con tulipas de lámparas gigantes que semejaban paraguas en las alturas que marcaban la zona de la feria, donde estaban los establecimientos de objetos de casa, decoración, textil hogar, vidrios, wallpaper, y muchos otros artículos de diseño.
From the shores of the Seine and with Notre Dame in the background, some very well garnished streets, with overhanging giant lampshades looking like umbrellas that marked the fair area, where there were shops with house wares, decor, home textiles, glasses, wallpaper and many other designer items.
Pasear por estas calles es un verdadero placer, porque no solamente se puede disfrutar de la feria sino también de cafés y restaurantes con ese encanto tan parisino.
El ambiente era muy variopinto, tiendas y más tiendas a cuál más bonita y puesta con muchísimo gusto, pero en plena calle se podía ver un sofá gigante o un caballo paseando al trote con una amazona cubierta de las más diversas telas.
Strolling along these streets is a real pleasure, as you can enjoy not just the fair, but also cafés and restaurants with that “oh-so-Parisian” charm.
The ambiance was very motley, shops and then more shops each prettier and more charming than the last one. But you could also see a giant armchair in the middle of the street, or a horse trotting with a horsewoman covered in the most diverse array of fabrics.
Ha sido otra experiencia más, sin duda complemento perfecto para una feria extraordinaria y de la cual se saca una conclusión muy clara: Hay que volver a París, que por algo es la cuna del diseño mundial.
It has been another experience, doubtlessly the ideal complement to an extraordinary fair and from which I draw a very clear conclusion: I have to come back to Paris, which not for nothing is considered the cradle of world design.
